Michael has been surfing for over 20 years, on the Outer Banks,
the premier surfing location on the east coast, Michael shredded
his way to a top 5 in the men’s ESA surfing competition for
3 consecutive years. His sponsorships included WRV, G&S and
Oakley. Michael enjoyed his life on the Outer Banks surfing, and
who wouldn’t but he knew there was something more out there
for him…………………
His journeys in life landed him in Virginia Beach, where soon enough
he was spotted at the Oceanfront, instructing The City of Virginia
Beach Parks and Recreation’s Summer Surf Camp. For 2 years
his knowledge and experience in wave riding was passed on to as
many as 500 students without a single injury. His fun, safe and
easy way of teaching the art of surfing is second to none so come
